If you can play around that, its long reach in its class makes its uncharged attacks nigh-impossible to avoid for blokes that get caught anywhere within striking distance. Charged attack is pretty bloody useless though.
Is the range of that charged attack shorter than the light attack? Is the hit box just really narrow? Is it actually just hot garbage?
I found the stun baton to be very easy to deal high damage. When you get the heavier lance type weapons to land they will shred your enemy, but I'd miss just a bit too often, especially against late game enemies. They got me into more trouble than they got me out of, so I ditched them.
This guy is rating the weapon on PvE perspective btw.
The fact that it doesn't lunge means you don't need to bother with Melee Attack Thrust at all for booster options, and you can fire it while moving in tank legs or tetrapod flight. That bumps it up quite a bit with the hit and run or ACS punishes.
But I need to get more into the PvP.
I also think the pulse blade deserves to be higher because of how well it tracks and how much Direct Hit it has. Another thing that can't be overlooked is that it is INCREDIBLY weight and EN efficient. That thing weighs like nothing.
Which seems kinda pointless in retrospect, because melee weapons mostly work in PvE, PvP is different me think.
Pile bunker is broken damage wise, but it requires proper setup meaning it has crap utility. Meanwhile the moonlight swords are basically just infinite ammo guns that work in almost every situation.
Literally just slice them while charging the other weapon(s).
