Is your drive formatted in NTFS?
I don't know about other OSes but in Windows 10 you can just type Hard Drive into your start menu and it gives you an option to view your hard drive partitions. If you go in there (disk management), it will say NTFS or FAT32 or whatever on each partition.
Im using windows 11
Apparently you still want a function called Disk Management. Just type that into your little search bar thing.
