How to S rank these
all I have left are:

Attack the refueling base
attack the old spaceport
coral export denial
Intercept the redguns (I presume you gave to speedrun this? what about ammo is that a factor?)

I 'speedrunned' the first two like five times so there must be something else im missing. refueling base i took out all the fuel tanks too so im not sure atm.

Thanks in advance

Speed is the #1 thing. When I S ranked say, redguns. I was maimed and out of healing kits. Still S rank just because of speed. Same as all three final boss S ranks.

Redguns you also want efficient MT murder power more because the faster to clear them out, the faster they skip to the next spawn phases so Michigan will show up. The plasma missile launcher is one of the best multi lock trash MT killing weapons in the game. It won't one-shot the shield MT, but it has a very fast multi lock and will one shot anything that isn't a shield MT or tetrapod/AC.

Songbird can help speed thing up not for the boss, but to fire in the general direction of grouped up MT and shield MT you don't have time to rush into melee range for. Or you could try your luck with the laser dagger.

i have heard double flamethrowers is popular for that. But most of their raw damage is post stagger, so try a single flamethrower and a kinetic weapon instead. (If it is good enough to beat twin flamer builds in PVP...)

I am not going for S ranks on EVERYTHING, but I got em on most. Though coral transports one obvious in hindsight weapon that helps is the coral rifle. It is huge, but it can practically double tap all of the transports and has a long enough effective range it will deal damage instead of deflect. Only got an A though, missed two transports at the very end. having to aim up in a hurry is a real bastard in this game even with guns that can easily deal with the transports the instant you have a lock.

Speedrun while getting the highest money.

Part 1 before the first fissure: Pop every MT and turret, Fuel tanks on the left. Destroy LC

Part 2 before second fissure: Pop everything on the way, destroy choppers on the left

FInal crossing: Simply fly left of the bridge, pop drones, delete gun turrets and MTs along ramp. Skip resupply.

Final approach: Delete all MTs and turrets as fast as possible. Blow up generator.

Delete the Mobile HCs as fast as possible with as little repair costs posssible.

Caveats: Utilize your Pulse Armor abilities. They cost nothing and add good chunks of damage to your burst windows if it's Assault Armor. Aggression is king.

The fuel tanks do nothing for rank

Speed is priority one but there is a few things
Attack the refueling base speedrun like normal but stop to kill the PCA guy with a shield he gives a bunch of points towards score. After that Ignore anything not directly in your way.
Attack the old spaceport - Assualt boost towards the first center one. Then the higher one on the right. Get the 3 in the back last. Resupply, assault boost to the top of tower take out first 2 guys, then the next to in front. Assault boost towards the incoming pca ships break em. Take out the 2 pca officers quickly. If you got a high melee damage weapon try to target the one Rusty isnt. He loves to knock them out of your swings.
Coral export - Equip large coral gen. You gotta get every transport so weapon of choice but decent mid ranges work well here. Try to snag a couple grunts in between to give you a better buffer.
Intercept the redguns - a little tricky but its doable. I recommend swapping a shoulder slot for the pulse cannon. Lots of ammo one shoots the very basic enemies. Try to snag the transports carrying MTs they are worth a lot. QB behind shield guys to save ammo/time. Once G1 arrives if confident demolish him he likes to back up against a wall so assault armor expansion can do a lot of damage if you get in his face. If not confident assault boost around the area mopping up the little guys.
Priority for rankings goes. Speed>Enemies you can kill quickly>Damage>Ammo
Its an invisible timer counting down. Killing adds a little time. Damage and ammo subtracts a little time.

> Attack the refueling base
You can (or even "must') freely skip the side-mission to destroy all fuel tanks. Just go straightforward, kill anyone on your way, with no distractions.
Use x2 ZIMMERMAN + x2 VE60SNA to eradicate bosses, that's all.
>attack the old spaceport
Same goes here, just kill importatn HC/LC's and all ships (there one which not marked clearly if I remember correctly, when kill first, you shoul go up and right, then return to three at the base).
Build above same goes here, just kill bosses fast with it, and you have S-rank in your pocket.
>coral export denial
Not only speed, but you must kill all ships with cora(means no one escaped, though mission allow up to five) l. Here needed lightweight build, two laser pistols + some rockets, and very fast AC. The tricky moment is you can kill one ship what not started to fly. At place where mission start, go left, and kill ship what standing still, so later you don't need to return.
>Intercept the redguns
x2 ZIMMERMAN + x2 VE60SNA again. All is you need to kill them fast.

For S-ranking most missions I suggest equipping the Buerzel boosters (the spiky-ones with good assault boost stats) as your travel time through maps and arenas is shortened significantly.

Refueling base:
0) Killing any nearby MTs is optional, but contributes towards S-rank.
1) Destroy fuel tanks at beginning.
2) Kill the LC medium enemy after the first fuel tanks.
3) Choice of:
3a) Assault boost to helicopters, destroy helicopters. Or...
3b) Cross the bridge and destroy both turrets. Or...
3c) Do A then B.
4) Destroy fuel tanks behind bridge.
5) Assault boost up right-side ledge to resupply at sherpa.
6) Clear final area of enemies, blow up reactor, kill bosses quickly/cleanly.

Old Spaceport:
0) Killing any nearby MTs is optional, but contributes towards S-rank.
1) Assault boost to ship under the building. Destroy it.
2) Assault boost to 3 ships. Destroy them.
3) Assault boost to final ship. Destroy that.
4) Assault boost up top and destroy the LC snipers on top.
5) Assault boost to the top ship as soon as it appears in the horizon.
6) Kill bosses quickly/cleanly.
7) Stand on the the ledge and wait until mission ends.

Intercept the Redguns:
0) Most builds works if they have plenty of ammo. If it doesn't, bring a melee weapon. Don't forget to kick. Bring either bring boosters that have good upwards thrust, or something more generalist, you'll be constantly hopping over the center. (Assault Armour is good if you can nuke a bunch of MTs in one hit, or you can use it to stagger a tetrapod or michigan).
1) Dual Zimmer with Dual Stun Needle progression build works. Personally, I used a light-mid weight biped version.
2) MTs and smaller die with 1 shot from Stun Needle, 1 shot at close range with ZImmer. Take that into account.
3) For Tetrapods and Michigan, you know the drill. Stun and pop them. Try to kill tetrapods first.

For coral export denial. When you reach the canyon at the end. You need to take out these two lc as fast as you can. And stay near the spawn point or the transports. It help a lot

When in doubt, just use Stun Needles.

I found a lot of missions are hard to S rank if they have an AC fight in it. Enemy ACs are spazzy as hell and even if you can win while taking little damage you can still lose a lot of time just chasing them around constantly.

Stun Needles takes of care of that since you can zap them to death in seconds.

Not a specific advice but check some YT videos when in doubt. I was also confused with some missions not knowing what I was missing.

Coral export denial was tricky for me as you must destroy all transport units while doing it quickly and without taking too much damage. In the first two areas try to destroy them before they even start moving to save time. The best weapon was laser shotguns for this mission. The only mission where I used them.

Attack the refueling base
Just speed through. On my successful S rank run, I only killed the Shield LC, and the 2 Sniper LCs on the cliffs. But I killed the 2 ACs at the end quickly (Assault Armour staggered both at the same time). Beeline for the reactor will also reduce the tedium of reruns.

Attack the old spaceport
I follow this almost exactly. I targeted the less mobile AC at the end first.

Coral Export Denial
I find having a laser rifle and a long range PCS helps. The tricky part is the last batch of ships where they approach in 2 batches 4 at the bottom and 5(?) at the top. So at the phase, you should already be positioned at the bottom, then later use the jump pads to land on the bridge for the remaining ships. The ship does a large AoE coral explosion on kill. So if you kill the leading ship in a group, you can often destroy another 1-2 ships when they fly into the explosions.

Intercept the Redguns
I just use a laser rifle, laser blade, and stun needles. Ammo is not a problem. When Michigan appears, you can try killing the other minions first. They are part of the objective anyways and some of them have bazooka which will annoy you with staggers.

There is an online calculator for S-ranks.

The first two missions on your list contain LCs that you must kill.
REBirthTheEdge Sep 23, 2023 @ 6:35am
Attack the fuelbase: beelining towards the fuel base while killing all tanks, copters and LC in your way, make sure you have at least 1 repair kit unused by the end of the final fight without your HP in red.
Attack the spaceport: kill the LC, you can find at least 4 of them in various locations of the map, again, make sure to have at least 1 repair kit unused by the end fight without your HP in red.
Intercept the red guns: kill everyone ASAP, again, make sure you have 1 repair kit unused without your HP in red.

That doesn't matter as much as you think it does.

I just used dual zimmers and coral missiles to S rank every single mission.
Skipped 95% of enemies. Was a 67k Weight build.
