It's part of the devs' vision, and clearly the devs want more people finishing the game. That much is obvious given how many things they smoothed out from older games.
This isn't the hill to die on. Because the hill is padded and will receive more pads in future.
It seems my voices are not being heard by From :(
lol if Iron Pineapple is saying Lies of P might just be too hard even for DS fans, i'm thinking 'git gud' might not be applicable for it.
Maybe they'll un-nerf them again in patch 1.04 ;)
As you've been repeatedly told while carrying on your endless screeching and tantruming, a sane person should recognize that this game has data metrics and From made very slight adjustments based off those metrics.
Considering that said bosses tend to have absurd speed, a complete lack of proper stagger after their stagger gauge is filled, and attacks that have no conceivable way of reliably dodging, a subtle nerf to balance things is how you ensure good reviews, happy players, and a wider audience.
So kindly take your elitist sneering and put it back in the penalty box.
Gotta say though visually Lies of P is damn impressive, and it does look fun with its combat flow, though I'm not in the market for a souls-like at the moment.
