Who the hell thought it was a good idea to build tank superweapon aroud BASIC BIPEDAL MT?? not only it looks funny but also weakpoint is on the front where tank gonna get hit the most. No wonder those guys lost even with superior technology

To be fair the cataphract for the most part does keep its front hidden, preferring to approach you diagonally. Thus maximizing it's armor effectiveness.

But I do agree, the bipedal MT seems like after thought to be casually slapped into the front bumper of the giant apocalypse tank.

It is nonsense but It's also my fav boss fight in the game. Actually requires a degree of positioning. Whoever in the PCA thought this was a practical design be crazy though.
