What new players need to do in AC6
Fight the trainer AC for a good 3 hours and get use to the mechanics he throws at you. Experiment and get use to your movement options and see how it affects combat. Learn how to use your attacks effectively against that trainer AC.

This same thing should go with the Build customization. Spend some time just observing what some parts do and you will start to notice trends.

From there, I highly advise training against Arena AC's as they have such varying playstyles your are guaranteed to learn new things in not just your skill, but with build knowledge.

Showing from my perspective how I got use to the game as the trainer AC teaches a lot of the fundamentals. Sort of my take on how to get use to this fast paced, 4 weapon, 3D combat experience. For those who need another method that might click with them.

You can tell who the Souls players are, because this is actually good advice for an Armored Core game. It's exactly what you did when experimenting with new builds and weapons in all the classic titles.

But it's sadly wasted on AC6 because there is no actual risk of losing anything when you fail missions, and you can replay the easy missions freely as proof of concept stress test, and harder missions as a full test.

I honestly dont know. The AC's at the start are pitiful and won't teach you anything to finish the game.

what i did was just play the game, worked well lol.
You know what helped me as a "New player" to the game?
Playing Balteus over and over again until I actually won.

he WAS the perfect ice breaker boss. taught you everything you need to know about dodging and what to look out for.

Trainer AC can litterally be killed standing stationary with pre patch ludlows in a 6400 ap jailbreak. It won't teach much because it barely fires it's weapons. It's ai is incredibly terrible and that sounds boring as hell. Just play the game and redo previous missions if you get stuck for missed loot chests and combat logs.
