right from the start there are many more parts available in the AC3 shop.
That's why I got this doubt.
It wasn't until Nexus that Fromsoft learned how to use two sticks as a control schema sadly.
I'm actually on emulator, I'll look there. Too bad FS took so long to implement that, it feels so unnatural using r2/l2 for camera after so many years playing with R3/L3 sticks.
A lot of people *$&% on Nexus but personally I don't see why, but then again I'm also the guy who enjoys the 4th and 5th gens as much as most of the preceding ones so maybe I'm not a good metric to go by.
wrong. dual sticks started at armored core 3 nexus and was also in armored core 3 nine breaker and armored core 3 last raven(the game that concluded generation 3 of armored core)
...Also I forgot about Nine Breaker somehow, thanks for the reminder.
yes they are, full title of each is Armored core 3: nexus, Armored core 3 Nine Breaker, armored core 3 last raven, they all follow the same timeline started with armored core 3. get a better bait troll.
Having played only AC1 and 2, back in the days of ps1-2 I'm kinda seeing TODAY plenty of QoL changes needed in the game. For example, in every mission you go in a bit blind, and never really sure which configuration of the AC is best suitable for that mission. And this leads to a ton of save and reload, buy and sell parts, for each mission, making the progress kind of frustrating after a while.
Credits earned, seem pretty unbalanced too. My AC is using laser weapons to remove the cost of ammo, and skipping back missiles for the same reason. With 9000 AP, ending a mission with about 4900, i basically broke even with AC repairs. Not really satisfying outcome that keeps me wanting to go next, even knowing that I played fairly decently.
I probably could improve the score, but how many attempts is going to take to find the right balance? I'd say credits and parts are too tight in Ac3. Making missions more of grind rather than enjoy it.
Yes, the mission briefing can give you some hints of what may be better suited, but I still find it lacking of info to determinate the best or even right set up.
Farming arena ranks gives so little credits in return too.
Even with getting S rank in AC test right from start, you are still very tight with the parts you can combine each and every mission.
I wonder if in the next games any of these issues were addressed by FS.
