demo wanted

i want to sample the game play and get a taste of how the music will be, especially the hanger music, i played the crap out of AC 4, looked up its hanger music and felt nothing, i looked up the AC 2 hanger music and all the memories started flooding back.

i also want to see wow the hud will look and how the game play will feel, a small taste of the mech building would be nice too, imo give us some preset ACs' and then let us mix and match the parts.

another thing, with eldin ring it was easy to know what to expect if you played dark souls 3,
AC has no other titles on steam to compare too. players are jumping in with blind faith in From, i just hope those people will not feel burned.

you're acting like there isn't a wealth of information readily available and easily accessible on every game on the internet, we're not in 1990

do not forget the console exclusive closed beta, and in the ign interview the developer guy stated, if i understood correctly, that the next thing shown would be the pvp arena.

well, i would rather just play 4 and for answer, but those are not on steam.

Armored Core 4 and 5 both had demos on console, if we're talking about precedent here.

Souls games would be a lot harder to build a contained demo out of, especially Elden Ring with its large open world. You'd inevitably have to download gigabytes of assets and world geometry that you'd be unable to explore just to get a taste of the game.

AC's gameplay is a lot easier to encapsulate in a demo with its self-contained missions, especially with a few pre-built AC configs to mess with and a couple scenarios to run them through. Not saying it'll definitely happen, but don't assume it won't just because the Soulsborne games didn't do it.

Japanese devs still commonly make playable demos for upcoming games, even in the year 2023. Also FromSoft was mostly making Souls games in that time period, which as I mentioned would be much harder to build contained demos out of.

Again, not to say it definitively will or won't happen, but just saying that it's certainly a possibility given the series.

personally i believe a demo is possible, as the other guy said, mission based games are easier to make demos for.

however, i do not see a demo coming out like next week or something, perhaps after another trailer or 2 will get a demo.
