ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON™

ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON™

Giant boss fights were never apart of the old games.
You had fights with difficult ac's and they got bigger over time. I just hope it doesn't focus so much on them that it becomes a glorified boss rush.
Edit: What I mean to say is that the giant bosses weren't a selling point of the franchise in the early games. Or that at least I didn't think so. I know there were giant bosses.

Fair enough I didn't remember that. I know there were a few as the series wen't on but my point is that I hope it doesn't do much more than 4 did and become only that.
AC has had every kind of enemy. The only point I can give you is a lot of the final battles are now much larger bosses but kinda hard to make a AC engaging on the last mission in a one on one battle.

For sure, they want the last boss to be notable. I liked the one in 4 or 4a where it was a 2 on 3 or 3 on 3. I cant remember. I really hope it's not all bosses. I like the fights with other ac's and the interaction with other pilots. The worst is the one with stinger and he's in that craft.

... You are REALLY missing out if you haven't played Armored Core: For Answer. It had giant bosses in it. Really fun, giant, rip-and-tearable bosses in it. AC V also had a giant boss in it. That one was fun too... Well, for the most part. :P

Yeah I've played them all. And I loved the 4's also. But it seems some of From's other games have become notable for the boss fights only. Their have always been big fights but I hope they don't go overboard with them. I really enjoy the normal missions, the fights with other ac's and the inter pilot dialogue. Like getting ambushed at the end of long mission by 2 ac's trying make buck. That sort of stuff.
I want to fight a new Nine-ball :cleanseal:
Bro, you named yourself after one of the OG bosses of the series that has one of the most iconic boss forms in the franchise. Nine-Ball Seraph, the giant mech in AC1, Leos Klein final boss fight AC2, the massive MT in AC2: Another Age, the two large MTs in AC3 from The Controller, the Great White in Silent Line, the giant ancient weapon in Nexus, the Pulverizers from Last Raven, Joshua Grant final boss in AC4, the massive fortresses in AC: For Answer, The Chief final boss in AC5...

Giant bosses are a mainstay in FROM games, including Armored Core.

Yeah I geuss what I should have said is they weren't a seeling point for the franchise in the early games.
I'm more curious into why they are still going with the whole pre-rebirth post-apocalypse art style. I wished more for something like the PS1 trio or AC 2.
