what kind of mech do you want to build?

Well, dont get used to the idea of having only one kind of designs in your garage. If its going to be like previous games you will want at least one scheme in every weight and legs kind. Not to mention weapon combos which most probably be giving you a headache every balance patch... but, architecting was always one of the signature and best features of this series! :)

Last time I played armored core was on the Play Station 2. I fell out of consoles so to see AC coming to PC has got the nostalgia juices flowing. I doubt the game has any of the old designs, secret parts, etc, but I do want my KARASAWA Laser Rifle.

And Moonlight sword! Iirc these two were in most if not in all games so far! Salute Raven! ;)

Me either. I thought my piloting days were behind me when I stopped playing console. Seeing this pop up on my steam store, makes me think other wise. I can't wait to play again.

Firstly a well-balanced midweight biped with enough weight/energy capacity to effectively equip a wide variety of different loadouts.

After that? Whatever I feel like at the moment.

Typically spend a ridiculous amount of time fine tuning a midweight all rounder because there is no easy min max of a singular facet and so many possibilities.

Outside of that will have a list of hyper specialised mechs because building to do one or two things really well at the expense of virtually everything else is much easier by comparison

I want to build my Legion Pulse mech again, and it looks like kicking and ultimate weapons are back so this is a real possibility
