And many many others to come. Looking forward to this.
Ah youre the type that uses terms like "zoomers".
That explains everything. Bye.
No worries, this is just their "off" game to do something different, like Sekiro/Bloodborne were in their time. Enjoy the mission-based style while you can. It's refreshing for sure, and nostalgic at the same time. Their next game will be more in line again with their refined large world design.
As for me, when did I act that "Souls/Elden Ring was ever hard"? I clearly imply that Elden Casual Zoomer Ring is a dumbed down and casualized game.
What does this mean for the future?
1. FromSoftware will make one or two massive expansions for Elden Casual Zoomer Ring, this allows them to continue exploiting the millions of newcomers, casuals and zoomers who got scammed by Elden Casual Zoomer Ring.
2. Miyazaki has already started his next solo project. Miyazaki also stated that he wishes to make a more abstract fantasy game, it isn't clear if this desire will be realized in his current unannounced project or a future project.
3. Multiple other directors have already started working on new FromSoftware games with their own vision.
Prepare for more divergent games by FromSoftware. You aren't getting a new casualized boring open-world dumbed down souls game like Elden Casual Zoomer Ring for a very very long time.
The last time FromSoftware made a game without creative direction of Miyazaki was Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin which also filtered hundred of thousands of souls players who cried that it was too hard, lol.
The future is bright for true fans of FromSoftware and the best part is that all the casuals, newcomers and zoomers who get scammed and exploited by Elden Casual Zoomer Ring financed this beautiful future for us.
Partly out of spite for the subset of Fromsoft "git gud" crazies why shall remain nameless, but also because it would be a good avenue to get mech games back into some form of...I want to say relevance but that's probably asking too much.
Also I find the older I get the less I give a *%&# about the games I play being "hardcore" or not, I just want the damn thing to be fun to play.
This is why FromSoftware is beloved, this is why they are the best.
