id watch videos of previous installments , like ac for answer , or older ones and see how it progressed.
you get various missions to do, get money depending on your performance with which you buy parts to build your AC, normally there is also arena where you can battle rival mechs which you'll also encounter in some missions, and big boss fights. its button mash game.
Choose mission from list, bullets and damage cost you money, reward for mission is $10,000, repairs and restock fee cost you $23,000, start next mission in crippling debt, fail because no money for ammo or repairs, start new file.
There's a good chance they update the formula, but they definitely won't be wiping the slate clean.
DO NOT EXPECT SOULS
DO NOT EXPECT GUNDAM
The controls have been great since AC Nexus on PS2, and you may have seen those pictures or memes of an inverted controller grip from time to time - those are just jokes from the Japanese community. xD
The game can be key bound to your preference since the first game on PS1, so you don't have to worry about a confusing or clunky control scheme (although the game still requires you to use all the buttons on the controller).
he gameplay is really fun and easy to understand. The missions are pretty simple: go there, destroy that stuff. But what makes the game so unique and fun is how you accomplish those missions. You need to customize your AC based on your mission and your preferences.
For the Multiplayer? I heard its only PVP here, Sadly ;-; AC4 For Answer and 5/V had one of the best coop ;-;
I hope you'll try the game! If you see anyone using an AC with 'TYPE-M' in the name, that's me
And if you love missile... You can fire up to 64 missiles at one in AC4... So I expect more here xD
Preordering based off the name has never worked well in the past
storywise it's ok, but from gameplay wise it's almost the same

its a fromsoft game they only know how to make darksoul clones anymore so i doubt the game will be any good but we'll just wait and see
You're given a selection of missions to pick from in the menu and are given the details, objectives, and reward. Missions tend to be basic objectives like "Destroy X number of enemies", "Protect the escort", "blow up this building", "destroy enemy AC unit", and so forth. Beating a mission unlocks other missions, and the story branches out depending on which ones you choose to do, with different endings depending on what you do and who you choose to work for.
That's how previous games worked, at least, I don't know if they may have changed the formula this time around.
