I was just expecting Allmind to be like, "Your existence is superfluous now. TIme to dispose of you." and then we fight. Not some obsessed now basically Human+ pilot to just come up right after we took him out for the Nth time a couple of missions back. They should forget about using Coral as a power source and use Iguazu's salt as fuel instead.

It's real confusing to me why ALLMIND would choose Iguazu as their 'chosen' one when even he immediately expresses not caring what ALLMIND is planning.

he's the least salty at that point. maybe he's tried meditation. i was surprised but it doesn't beat shutting up Snail. Iguazu may be the salt lord but he can be kinda funny. Snail is just an *sshole

Because of all the candidates, it’s gone down to just 621 or Iguazu, the other already refused and killed

I think it'd be more neat if ALLMIND used all the data it collected on you to make an AI to best you with all the work you did for it, and in the Arena.

I'm guessing AllMind didn't have many choices available at that point. Plus Iguazu doesn't need extra convincing to fight 621/Raven.

Fighting Iguazu is entertaining, fighting Snail is cathartic (plus his dying scream is very satisfying).

Freud would have been a more practical choice due to his in-universe status as the Verspers' top pilot (and highest Arena ranking before 621 came along), but he's ineligible due to not being augmented. Would have been interesting though.

What would have been interesting is if the choices you made during that run affect who ends up as AllMind's pilot in the final boss battle.

Well it can, issue is it would still missing a key component to create the Trigger for the grand release just like 621 and Ayre is another Trigger, and if those two trigger the release first instead of ALLMIND, it plan will be destroyed
Between 621 and Iguazu the last two candidates (early gen augmentation), one doesn’t want to be merge, the other just want to kill the former, so it’s really desperate call when phase 2 start, ALLMIND quickly call him a mistake lol
