Here's the AC I beat pretty much all of the game with. including NG++
And I'd argue the VE-20C is better than most coral gens depending on your use case. Feels like it has more uptime than the Coral stuff.
This is basically the only use I could find in the Coral gens - they're *really* good for constantly airborne missile boats.
Naah, if you don't need the energy damage and use the Coral gens properly they basically give you infinite juice. Some people don't like going into exhaustion, but IMO it's worth the reward.
You can abuse them with reverse joints too. The jump is basically a free quick boost and by the time you land you have full energy again thanks to exhaustion recovery. Doesn't work with regular gens because of the reduced recovery rate while in the air.
