My point is that this is the case with Ibis. Repeating "input reading" doesn't change that.
Yep. Same for me. I fought Cel about 20 times. So Ayre I lost once or twice too then beat.
She's got some good moves. But she's a glass cannon. The devs were going with pacing of her speeches matching the fight. It's not the hardest fight, but it's setting in the tone very well.
If it had lasted longer then it could lead to drawn out fighting and what Ayre says doesn't sound quite as right. It's intended to be a "desperate struggle". Faster. Where she's thowing everything at the player. Which she does. It even makes sense from a difficult standpoint once you get used to fighting her well. She's not meant to be the best fighter. She's got heart and soul but her desperation is what throws her off.
Same goes for Iguazu. If you think about it we never get a final boss that can actually remain focused and be that capable. Maybe in an expansion?
The only boss in Elden ring that I had any issues with was Malenia and most of that just came from her rng on what attacks she spams. The true final boss in this game is utter chaos phase one insta stagger gank squad with the fast laser spamming boss and phase 2 it just hits like a truck, teleports, and spams attacks. I've beaten all the armored cores, all the souls games, bloodborne, and elden ring I dont like how sekiro plays so never beat that one and this boss is the most over the top from software boss in my opinion.
Ayre is a literal snooze fest and it took zero tactics or thought to kill her. Just slowly strafed in a circle firing my weapons with a few QBs thrown in and didn't need a single repair. Ibis, who is also easy, was at least interesting. Ayre is just an easier fight all around and causes yawning and boredom.
Hell, I feel pity for her, really, she fights like she doesn't really want to fight you, I feel no malice.
And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I expect a 2nd phase.
