What got improoved is how much of "humanity" is lost during conversion. Gen 1 are basically lobotomised automattons, Gen 10 are perfectly normal people (with some minor mental issues).
Walter is using early gen cos they are obedient in "mission avove all" way (watch "story trailer" to realise just how much).
i read of on of the arena ACs bios and it said how he was gen 14 or 15 and i'm like "HOW HIGH DO THESE GENS GO?!"
