Making a backup of your AC6 save file
So I suppose lots of you are aware that, even though Steam Cloud saves your progress and keeps it safe and available any time, you still have a file on your computer where your progress is stored. This would be the case in most games, at least.

With Armored Core 6, I honestly don't know. But it would be nice to find out - and hopefully somebody already has.

"Why are you even interested in that?", someone may ask.
Well, let's say I want to experience the feeling of starting over from scratch, but still have the option to return to my original save after I'm done with that. Or maybe I want to do a speedrun of AC6 from start to finish (unlikely that I will, but someone else may want to).

That's why finding the save file and making a backup of it comes in handy - so you can safely destroy your progress and restore it any time.
Or you can go through all three runs once again. :papyruswacky:

Anyway, has anybody figured out how to do it?

I want to do that for 1 reason: I don't want to lose my 50hrs of progress by accidentally pressed "new game"

Type %appdata% in your windows explorer address bar, then copy the ArmoredCore6 folder.

That is also a perfectly valid reason, I can definitely see that happening at some point (hopefully not to me, but I'm clumsy AF).
