Can you share AC data cross plat?

I am asking this primarily due to the fact that my friend and i are unable to share AC data with each other and there is no discussion on the subject so im just going to assume it may be the fact that we are on separate platforms, tho if this isnt the issue then im at a loss cus i have no idea why i cant share data as both of us are online and my AC data all have share IDs.
