Does shield receive more damage from energy weapons or its all the same and just hammer em with everything u got?

Yes use the sword and some laser weapons to brute force Balteus, it is surprisingly easy, you just need to dodge at the right time and stay off the ground.

There's a weapon called a pulse gun that does more damage to shields. It looks kinda like a satellite, you get it in the shop before balteus.

There is a stat on weapons that can disrupt shields. Look for a higher PA interference and it'll do more. Either way shields aren't too bad to deal with in general with any weapon.

Pulse weapons are more effective on Pulse shields. The Pulse Blade (Default melee weapon) and the Pulse guns shred shields like no one's business.

For *Spoilers* songbird, needle gun and zimmerman is enough for quick pop than pile bunker that boss.
