Where/when do you get your first quad legs?

Thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye after offing the BAWS Tetrapod in the cargo heli mission about tetrapod legs being unlocked, but the messages cleared out so fast I didn't have time to do a double-take to make sure that's what was actually on the screen, and the game's so new that Google is unhelpful.

I know there's a tutorial down the line that goes over quad legs and gives you a set, I just don't know if that's the first set you get access to in the game or not.

The tutorial ones are the first. They'll show up in...I think it's the 5th training missions. It unlocks after the wall mission I think. It's been a long time since I did those so I could be wrong about the specifics.

What you saw was a combat log you got from the baws tetrapod.

Remember to play the tutorials, give you some very OP weapon, like the linear rifle.
