Never played AC before. Heard it was challenging. Some people even said it was an harder serie than DS/ER. Is it true? Will i get a heart attack after (finally) killing a boss? Why are people calling it hard. Why are people calling it easy. (Pls,no retardery,only concise explanations)

It can be hard if you don't explore builds and adapt to the mechanics the game wants you to use. It can be very easy if you just use certain builds and/or use the mechanics the game wants you to use.

You do not get I-frame dodges.

It's hard by most standards. Not unbeatably-hard, but challenging. You'll have to figure out loadouts and tactics to beat nearly every boss and generally won't be able to just faceroll your way through the game. Most of the reasoning is simply that the bosses are very destructive, often having considerably more firepower than you, are generally way tankier than you, and are sometimes even much faster than you.

I think it's relatively hard.
But do not play it like a typical Souls game, you need to overwhelm the enemies quick and fast, I'd say ZoE2 is closest to this game.

Well the first proper boss has a giant flame sword that 1 shots you, launches 100 missiles at a time, Is super fast and has a recharging shield that makes him invulnerable. Have fun

It's DEFINITELY not harder than DS/ER lol. It can be tough but I, personally wasn't walled by anything even on my first play through.

The people that are calling it easy are mostly using op builds.

You'll hear a lot about shotguns, but they're actually not the most broken weapons in the game, they just have a low skill ceiling so anyone can cheese most of the bosses.

So...Im the kind of person that never , ever , used any kind of magic/ranged build in any DS or even in Elden ring out of pure principle... What kind of difficulty should i play on? Im used to playing on hard on Nier:Automata. (If thats of any relevence).

its hard af the first playthrough cuz the game doesnt give you enough for the first final boss in chapter 1. also this game is being renamed armored mario kart 6 cuz you spend more time chasing the big bosses then actually hitting them just to break their shield(or a fu**ing turtle shell that makes the kart spin in mario cart) just to do meaningful damage in about the same timeframe a kart spins before you go back to chasing the runaway coward ai boss as you rinse, repeat, die and do it again til you feel youve been abused by your ex enough.

No iframes here and lot of trash unfair bosses, yea good luck have fun. You’ll be long past refund window when you’ll face first roadblock balteus so yea better get ready to keep playing even if you don’t enjoy the game due to sunk cost fallacy… lol GOTY

There's no difficulty setting. It's also not a melee game fundementally, though it does encourage very aggressive close-quarters play. You don't have to have a great aim either, the AC handles most of the precision aiming. The gameplay is more about timing, evasion, knowing when to be aggressive, and exploiting openings.

There are no difficulties, It's a fromsoft game though I do think the game could use a higher difficulty options. It can get pretty easy once parts unlock. Would be nice if high level Pilots weren't just chaff by the end.

yeah, yeah thats why you die and repeat til youve had enough abuse or get good rng and win. its a very healthy mindset to have as it carries you into the acceptance of punishment you do to yourself for seemingly no reason other than the fact you are so disgusted with the boss and how its designed you get angry enough to beat your head against the wall and potentially repeat the fight for hours

Your lightest mech is over 8K in health, like the strong enemy attacks so far does around 3000 (Sea Spider double laser).

Although they CAN stun you and hit you with enough things to kill you before you recover.

Also, I'd assume that if you somehow got hit with ALL of Balteus' missiles, that would take out a light AC. But I'm not sure if that's possible even if you just stand there and let it happen.

Especially this. 91% Download. Can you dodge with ... lighter build? How customisable is the game. Is there alot?
