i like this approach. high rate of fire is what ill try next.
I just want to say, this kind of stuff pisses me off in the game, its really frustrating that there is no indicator of when bosses go invincible and when they become vulnerable again...
For a few seconds. Fires of Raven final boss does it too for the second phase.
dumping everything I was able to do about 1/2 of the boss's health consistently in the first 10 seconds, using the gat, the sweet sixteen, and the 6x front missiles
having the Mind Beta legs (level 7 hunter reward) is also really nice, they're really solid RJ legs that I've been using consistently since I unlocked them
this is the fight that sold me on Assault Armor as the expansion and shotguns in general, since I was always more of a gats n zook with missiles guy in AC4A, but the bazooka is just a little too slow for big fights compared to how much damage it outputs
source: my main weapon in this fight was the gat, so it's REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EASY to tell
You can, people have beat the game without weapons and unarmed. Just depends on how good you are.
I never mention switching from bipedal legs, which I have used since I started. I did buy a leg upgrade that increased my load limit, which in turn allowed me to use the arsenal mention in 1st post.
The assault boost into charged Piledriver while it's in stagger is key. It can take out around 1 inch of it's health bar, compared to half-centimeter chip damage I had with Laser Sword.
Bazooka and Songbirds won't do much damage, but it will build stagger REAL good. 5 charged Piledriver is enough to put it in critical condition (10% left).
BTW, this isn't a souls game. You don't need to use the same arsenal "just because it's the one you chose". That's Soulslike mentality, I should know.
"ermaghad, I dumped all my souls and materials on this one/two weapons and now I can't beat this boss WAAAAAAAAAAAA"
