Ayre Boss Fight

Anyone else feel like this one is especially ridiculous? Rest of the game is just mech v mech and they all have different builds but even the C creations felt like just big mech fights, but then you run into ayre and to me at least its just ridiculous. Heres a mech that literally teleports, her attacks track even after start so like the sword attacks are damn near undodgeable unless you are the highest speed builds and then her whittle damage just shreds you anyway, she changes form, her shield is both really strong and she is so fast between movement and teleports that actually breaking it takes like 2x as long as it probably should, trying to break it you run out of ammo, ive gotten her down to like 1/3 health at most before dying when she starts going shadow clone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jutsu and really comboing my ass.
I just feel like this fight actually forces you to run specific builds while I got through the other boss's with pretty much whatever I was running and sheer determination (and possibly an hour apiece) and is more ludicrous than the others because its no longer mech v mech but mech v some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ space amalgamation of pure power that has like 8 different attack types that activate sometimes at the same time, do different damages, and attacks that you either build specifically to dodge or eat.

the thing i'll say about Ayre is it was sometimes hard to keep track of her given how much she teleports around essentially.

with build, yeah i did have to change to a quad shotgun to kill her.

im just getting annoyed because i dodge every little delayed projectile, explosive and shotgun shot, laser blast, explosive tracking rocket, dumbfire explosive, random mine, and then this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teleports into my anus and hits me with a 3 sword combo i cant fully dodge even if i start hitting shift as soon as she vanishes from my view, shoot straight up, shoot straight down, or pop my armor explosion to try and stun her.... which she somehow takes no shield, stun, or physical damage from while hitting me with melee?

By the way, I do think they jumped the shark with that boss fight. Ibis was great, but Ayre is a bit too absurd with the teleporting, and I say this as someone who died 7 times on Ibis and 1 time on Ayre.

ive tried a number of different builds now, I've enjoyed fighting high speed as a heavier medium build because i had to be careful with my dodges and shots but this isnt high speed yknow? its literal teleportation and im sitting there going "man wtf"

so far the best thing ive had luck with was double gattling or double shield break and then heaviest cannons possible on my shoulders, stun - cannon - run
but im still either getting comboed by teleport sword combos or eventual whittle damage

Wait quad shotgun did i miss shotgun back? ive been using songbirds and sting needles but i would like a shotgun

yeah idk really. i do agree with the criticism that sometimes you need that quick stagger, high dps build to "ignore" mechanics. rather than dodge them and counter attack. might just be my skill level too where I'm not good enough. my first playthrough it was my own ♥♥♥♥♥♥ build which i had to abandon and reset os tuning to allow for quad shotguns.

ng+ and ng++ i adopted a cheese build which i looked up and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game is so much more brute force braindead with them.

you can reset OS tuning btw. there is a small cost weapon unlock where you can put weapons on shoulders too.

you don't fire them from the shoulder like the missiles. but pressing the shoulder buttons swaps those shoulder weapons into your arms. you fire them with arm button.
so you're just swapping in and out.

i recommend unlocking it, it is cool for PvP use later especially :)

i think all he means is change the title to "chapter 5 final boss fight" you can mention ayre in the description instead of title
