Question about ending rewards.

So on my first time through I did the "Good ending" as it is called, and got the HAL armor set, and I did the "Bad ending" the second time around and did not get that armor, are you able to get the other set of armor? Or is that just for the HAL set? And if you are, is there any functional difference?

There's an ALBA set from the bad ending but you get it from the mission before the final mission.

The sets have different stats, so they serve different purposes.

What do you mean? I did both endings but I did not get the other set, do I have to do the "True ending" or is there some specific requirement that I managed to completely bypass?

Edit: Never mind, you meant Rusty's armor set, I meant the actual final boss's armor of the bad ending, can you get that?

If you're talking about what Ayre has, that's the Ephemera set which are in hidden containers in all the Depth missions + Unknown Territory Survey. Alba set is dropped by Rusty during bad end and HAL by Walter.

That is definitely not the Ephemera set, I have those pieces, they do not look the same at all.

Ayre has 2 different ACs that she pilots, one of which is the ephemera set. Unfortunately you can only get armour from the bad ending, the good ending does not have a corresponding player set

Yes, you can get Walter's AC from the ending where you kill them, but you cannot get Ayre's AC from the ending where she is the final boss. There are more parts from the 3rd ending though
