How well does this game play with KBM?

Was thinking of buying a controller for some of the other games I have and this game is probably going to be the deciding factor. Is KBM decent enough or would a controller be a lot better of an input choice?

I would definitely recommend a controller. Although if you wanted to use manual aim to snipe you could use the mouse for that.

AFAIK KBM is as good as a controller. You can read up on reddit as a lot of people have already asked this question.

It plays really good with mouse and keyboard I suggest you rebind reload and "sprint" with what you prefer and you should be good to go

K&M is buttery smooth, it straight up feels like a PC game, not like a controller game played on K&M.

I am playing with mouse and Keyboard. It works just fine.

Its bit clunky with back weapons on q and e but otherwise its fine.

It would be nice if we could bind both hands to single button but alas not possible.

A mix of both. I tend to use M&K for long range, controller for short range with taps of the C key for repair kits, and knocks of the mouse from my elbow for quick turns.

Actually I should put the mousepad on the floor and use a foot. That might work well, thinking about it.

Kb&M very well supported. My hands were hurting with controller at the end of chapter 2. Finished the last 3 chapters with Kb&M

Works perfectly fine. You don't even have to use hard lock in 99% of fights except THAT one boss. Also turn camera speed to 10
