Locked at 30 fps with vsync on
As title says, not sure why, doesn't happen with anything else, I can limit frames to 60/90/120 with it off but screen tearing is annoying me. on a 144hz monitor and using 7900 xtx

I have, but just curious if anyone else has had this or come across it so I don't have screen tearing :(

I'd suggest disabling in game vsync, then going into Nvidia control panel and setting your max desired framerate for the game in the game's settings in NVCP, and set the game's vsync in there to either On or Adaptive.

Lemme know how that works out for ya or if you need anymore help

do you have a freesync monitor?
ran Aug 27, 2023 @ 10:36am
actually i didnt realize this game only limits to 120 fps lol, that could be the problem since you have a 144hz monitor. try changing your monitors refresh rate to 120 then try vsync again

No problems for me personally - but my friend discovered that he's been running his high end monitor at 60hz since he bought it two weeks ago when he couldn't get this game to run at 120fps, a bit embarrassing considering he's running a 7900xt.

You can run gsync or freesync (surelly a 144hz monitor supports one of those) and not bother with the ingame vsync - works just as well.
