New game + question, did i screw up?

So i am on new game plus and when i got to the dame i picked accept and fought my 2 allies. I looked trough some guide and it says i was supposed to refuse. So what happens now? I wont be able to get any ending on this run?

Yes I think you "wasted" a NG cycle.

By accepting the offer to kill the two allies, you're moving towards the "Alea Iacta Est" ending, which is only available from NG++.

Try to see if you can get "Liberator of Rubicon" ending, which is when you side with Ayre.

can you explain how you "waste" a NG cyle? some other person told me he was still able to pick the ayre missions and get that ending, and the last ending on ng++, or did i waste this cycle now cause i wont get certain missions and i will need to do ng+++ to get those missions for s RANK?

I checked an online guide, and for the Ayre ending ( Liberator of Rubicon ) it said to Refuse the Act 1 Alternate choice of killing your allies if you're in NG+.

those 2 guides say to do completely different things to get the endings lol I guess I will just see what happens, I already picked destroy the special forces craft and am on ch 4 now. The fextralife article can't be right though, it says you have to pick those specific options to get the fires of raven and you can ONLY get the other endings on ng+/++... what happens if you pick different options on ng? you get no ending? game uninstalls? someone already commented on it that you can get liberator of rubicon the first playthrough so we'll see, but I wonder what you get if you mix and match choices instead of following the guide. The other guide link just has straight up different/opposite info

It really doesn't matter what you do before the final chapter. Just do what you didn't before.

The only decision that changes the ending for playthrough 1 and 2, is either support Carla (anti-corp), or destroy Carla (corp).

I did it like this:

NG: The Fires of Raven
NG+: Refused the Alternate Chapter 1 choice, got Liberator of Rubicon ( following exactly the Fextralife guide )
NG++: Accepted the Alternate Chapter 1 choice, got Alea Iacta Est ( following exactly the Fextralife guide )

Maybe the game only checks for the Chapter 4 choices?

You'll be fine. The important decisions for the first two endings come later, and you can't even get the third one yet.
