Issues with easyanticheat

ok so I Played the first 4 hours of the game, everything was fine ran smoothly. exited the game.. the following day tried to play the game it first opened easy anti cheat(drm that comes with game) then when it loaded it and verified it it said Verification error. so I tried looking up guides on you tube, clear caches,ect, and then just decided to verify files directly via steam, now it saying (corrupt disk) when I try and redownload. the game itself seemed fine but it seems something has gone wrong with easyanti cheat and clueless on how to get it running... can any1 help

spec : Geforce GTX 1060
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
16gb ram

(note game ran on high settings with raytracing off so the game itself running on my system is fine, its just I cant access game due to easychat)

just to clarify also whenever I uninstall it and try to reinstall now it says "corrupt disk" after each install... at my wicks end with this thing as I just want to play the thing...

ok so I think I've narrowed down the issue, its something to do with the localization file of easy anti cheat access seems to be denied to it and it seems that is corrupt... no idea what to do as I cant delete it or anything as even when uninstalling the game the file itself remains and u cant do anything to it...

There is a workaround that I used for another reason that disables Easy Anticheat so that might be a solution. The downside is that you can't play online but it is reversible.

Go to your AC6\Game directory in the steam files. Rename start_protected_game.exe to start_protected_game_bak.exe. Copy your armored core 6.exe and paste. Rename it to start_protected_game.exe. Start the game as normal.

To reverse, delete start_protected_game.exe and remove the _bak from the old one.

ok so cleaned D drive of any corrupt files the game downloads but when verifying the files during the download it now says "corrupt update" files, "shrug"

Uninstall, make sure you clear download cache of steam, and try to install on any other drive.
