All of Fromsoft's original IPs have a version of the moonlight sword.
Its pretty solid, but it didn't seem to hit quite as hard as I'd like. Looks badass though.

the moonlight was never a question,, but does the moon light shoot a lazer moon
i might be miss remembering but i think the moon light in AC5 didnt shoot anything ???
Treat it like a high burst damage ranged weapon.
It kind of is a swiss army knife, it does good burst, has good range, is free to use, and is safer to use than most other melees. The downside is it is less powerful than other melee options and has a long cooldown period.
It kind of invalidates the laser whip/plasma thrower melee by being easier to hit with and much longer range.
Personally I think I prefer the chainsaw. The impact it does is disgusting.
Is that what those stealth mechs at the BAWS armoury are using? I thought that thing looked awesome, but couldn't figure out what it was. Might give it a try if so...
