go for light armor just focus on dogde it missile
the pile buster charge atk can install deal enough damage to it when it is down and advance battle phase
left hand is pile buster only
right hand u can use any thing good enough to shoot those drone in phase 2
with the special needler gun they give u for this mission on right shoulder
keep distance in phase 3 becos the red electric aoe
in phase 3 u can wait for the worm to do sweeping ground atk
that atk is slow and dogde easy with jumping
the worm is immobile at the end of this atk and give u some window to land the needler shot
go for kinetic, melee, direct hit upgrade as ur pile buster get effect from all of them
the kinetic, explosive, and energy damage upgrades all say "excluding melee" on them and only melee applies to melee, did you test or something and kinetic works for pile bunker? cause it seems like its a melee weapon to me. Those 3 are all fire control tuning so seems intended for ranged weapons, melee is "drive control tuning"
1st shield - Wait around until the worm stops dancing (or you can just go to the red dot on your compass). When you see the hit indicator the worm will pop up and you just fire your stun needle. It works either or, the rush strat only works if you have a fast mech.
2nd shield - After it stops shooting the missiles at you, rush at the red on your compass, wait for hit indicator. Use your needle as soon as it pops up.
3rd shield - You can actually time this so as soon as the explosion finishes, wait a couple seconds. Then blast both needle guns. If you time it right it ends the fight right there and then (basically ignoring the whole 3rd phase). If not then just fight it normally just be sure to fire both stun needles.
I had max kinetic so not sure if you need more than the two stun needles to skip phase 3.
EDIT: NVM You can 1st shield strat is wrong. Just follow this guy's guide for that.
