I killed that guy 1st try in 20 seconds or so. I would just jump into an OB then slash him, stand on the rim of the glass and repeat before he could move and had like 10% life left. Did 1 more OB toward him and slashed and he was dead.
So basically, Skill Issue.
That fact that that is literally the ONLY WAY you can beat this boss is beyond idiotic.
Also it is insane the game does not tell you. Sure simple to figure it out but for a tutorial boss? Love fromsoft games but yeah...
The first mission doesn't really hold the player's hand or hint to use assault boost on the helicopter.
Melee weapon will be the main weapon to beat that level.
The game is solely about "gameplay" and "bosses" while everything else is just there.
1st Attempt; Boss shows up I get stomped. That's cool. Reload checkpoint.
2nd Attempt: Boss shows up, we fight for awhile, I realize assault rush/melee kills him but die first. Reload checkpoint.
3rd Attempt: Beating boss. He exits combat area and deletes me. Annoyed. Reload Checkpoint.
4th Attempt: Beating boss. He exits combat area and deletes me. Refund Game.
I'm not here for the "git gud" comments. That's poor design and if you're rocking that on a tutorial boss I have no interest in the other cheesy stuff that awaits.
I want a hard and challenging game. I'm cool with getting stomped to learn a lesson in gameplay. In this particular fights its too be aggressive. What I'm not cool is nonsense game design that potentially punishes me for playing the way the game is supposed to be played.
