Awful Screen Tearing (120 FPS + No Vsync) *SOLVED, CHECK LINK*
Experiencing awful tearing with NO Vsync + 120 FPS, and I am on a 144hz.
Tried any combination, 30 fps + Vsync or anything else and none of them work, the screen tearing is painful. I am annoyed as hell that nobody else seems to have this problem.
To those of who had such, has any of you found a solution?

EDIT:
Guys I finally found the solution, props to the redditor Grimyak for fixing the issue until devs finally solve it.
This is the link that provides the instructions on how to do it: https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredcore/comments/1610ghh/fix_for_performance_issues_stutter_with_older_cpus/

Thanks to everybody who tried their best to help me either ways! Appreciate it a lot

Try going to NVIDIA control panel - Manage 3D settings - Vertical sync - Use the 3D application setting.

Have that option already

Set Max Frame Rate to 119 FPS in NVIDIA control panel.

Try questioning the obvious, if you have not yet:

Update graphics drivers

Adjust graphics settings in Windows settings, not Nvidia CP. Remember, a recent update made it so that Windows controls your graphics options, and not the Nvidia control panel, anymore. That could be why adjust the control panel isn't working.

Some monitors have V Sync settings built into them that could potentially conflict with whatever you have on your actual windows settings. Double check those, as well. I have a monitor with G-sync, and I had to disable that setting to solve a similar issue in a different game.

thanks for the response first off! really appreciate you all for trying to seek out a solution.

However, I am not really familiar with such issue. I was not aware that the recent update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the control panel.
Could be that, since I do not have an external monitor but rather a laptop

Oh and yes, update has been done already

Me saying recent may have not been to accurate. That update was made in Win 10 over a year ago. I don't know if it's the same in Win 11, if you happen to use that. Regardless, the use of Nvidia control panel is now rendered pointless, because Microsoft is run by a bunch of morons, apparently.

Oh I see, then I highly doubt that could be the issue, anything else I may do? I spent money on the game and runs smoothly (finally, after that crappy optimization Elden Ring had) and just want to enjoy something I paid for..

What are your specs? What gpu are you using? Is it happening after a few minutes of gameplay, in the menus, or only during alot of action?

Laptop: HP Omen 15 2021
GPU: RTX 2060 6gb VRAM
CPU: i5 10300h 2.50Ghz
RAM: 16gb 2933Mhz

May not be the best rig out there, however the game runs really well in terms of framerate.
It is happening constantly, during gameplay and menus.
I cant tell whether it happens during action fights since I refuse to even move more than 20 meters with this problem. it is a mess

There is ongoing problem with Hyper Threading or multicore performance. Switching off CPU 0 or Disabling Hyper Threading helps to deal with stutters and screen tearing.
Please try that and let me know since I had that and it helped for me.

Are you running anything in the background? Can you put up an overlay that tells you your memory, cpu, gpu stats and Temps when you're playing? Also , have you checked your performance info in your task manager while the game is running?

Cant upload an image due to my lack of knowledge of third party websites.
However the stats seem pretty normal, gpu and cpu usage especially

Nothing is running in the background, every other game has no problem

It definitely not the same in Windows 11 which makes me wonder why they would do it for 10 and not 11 and that makes me wonder if you are mistaken...?
Do you have a source for that because I've heard NOTHING about such a thing, while spending like a quarter of my waking hours on Steam helping people troubleshoot.

Overlays often exacerbate screen tearing, and half of what you listed wouldn't even affect screen tearing. They could just as easily use Steam's FPS counter and rule out FPS dips as the cause.

A trick I've been using ever since I switched back to Nvidia and no longer have AMD's Enhanced Sync, is to force Adaptive Vsync globally. Might be worth a shot if you haven't tried it already

Looked online on how to do so, but switching off CPU 0 cannot be done normally through steam, and turning off Hyper Threading seems.. way too difficult? Its jusst me im sure
