It's sick, bro, try it for an hour and thirty minutes and if you don't like it, ditch it.
But generally speaking, if you like fast action game, you might like this
But if you like mech games and have the patience to learn boss fights, I say give it a try. Worst case scenario, you can refund it if it's not your thing.
Buy it, play it for an hour and 50 minutes.
Don't like it? Just refund it.
I have done this literally, Hundreds of times. Most people should be doing this.
You just didn't play well, that's why they were frustrating fights.
You'd probably be able to enjoy everything except the boss fights which are a punishing, boring,bullet-sponge fest that make you spend 15 minutes to defeat them, during which a single mistake will probably destroy your attempt. It's only been getting worse.
I've been fighting a boss just now that, even when made vulnerable, using the hardest hitting bazookas and missiles I own, probably takes 1/20th of it's hitpoints from a full alpha strike. It's abysmal. Buy the game on sale and maybe pray someone can mod the dark souls out of it.
Maybe they're not as weak as you - maybe they like a challenge.
I love these games, but it's disingenuous to the conversation to not acknowledge that they have their frustration moments. Miyazaki likes making difficult games, this is true. People love immediately jumping on the "git gud" argument when you are frustrated. They are just trolls trying to get under your skin. Not worth the effort to type a response to.
