Plasma gun that looks like radar disk bubble machine. Plasma sword. Plasma missiles both shoulders. Still haven't won with that but it's decent.

There are no shoulder grenade launcher available for me. Did i missed something?

Literally anything that beats him will be called a cheese strat.

For me I gave up on blades the Nth time I stabbed him, and then he fled halfway across the arena before the second stab hit even if his stagger meter was still red.

Pulse gun is also garbage that loves to miss at close range then overheat when you want it most.

I ended up just saying ♥♥♥♥ it and kamikaze racing him with the tiny hand machineguns and a pair of laser cannons. even laser cannons can deflect when he runs away like a baby, but they still carve chunks off the shield and have a solid direct hit value for after their shields drop.

You didn't. as a career back grenades lover, I am certain they locked them until after chapter 1 knowing they would wreck him.

you CAN store handhelde grenade launchers to swap to with OS unlocks by then. but that eats time. Works great for enemies that stagger for more than 1.2 seconds, like the juggernaut. Not so much the enemies that start evading again even while their red stagger meter is still full.

Dual Pulse guns (also called "bubble gun") and dual x8 shoulder missiles. Just press all your buttons and watch its shield and health melt.

I beat it with pulse gun and sword, and best missiles I could pack on the shoulders. Pulse gun and missiles to break the shield, then charged sword. I used a light mech setup so I could stay away from it's swinging attacks in the second phase. If you try to strafe to the left as much as possible you will stay mostly out of the way of his bazooka.

Yup. They may be tiny, but ironically that tiny nature means fast reloads instead of awkward overheat cooldowns. And deflected damage is not as bad when it is spamming light damage anyways.

laser cannons have good range, solid damage, and you don't NEED to charge them to carve chunks of health off him. they can still deflect at times off the shield when he runs like a baby, but it is still laser cannons.

You may want to invest in the only pair of tank legs so you can fire them without stopping in place though. Heavy biped might be able to handle it because uzis are small, after all.

Assault Armor is also good to use if you can get close when he does one of his massive missile barrages. It will destroy most of them and also damage him if you get close enough.

My cheese for him in the end was tank treads, dual bazooka on arms, dual laser cannon on shoulders. The bazookas take a good chunk off the shields, are ammo efficient, and have the bonus of doing great damage and stagger damage once the shields are down too. Once the shields are down let rip with all four weapons.

After dozens and dozens of attempts to play the boss properly, I gave up and brute forced it. Less fun than having a tooth pulled.

Yeah the small rapid fire gun there is a button that plays a video of what the weapon does in the shop. Two of those shred his shield pretty quickly but you have to be pretty close to get the intended damage.

Yeah you buy a laser cannon for each shoulder. VP-60LCS.
