Just like elden ring, having the same issue only with this one... it won't go away even after verifying my files. It was annoying, it has happened over 5 times but I managed to get far enough into the story where it would NOT restart the entire game and I would lose hours of progress. Anyone else having this issue?

Stop doing inappropriate things in the game.

Do you have any intention of playing multiplayer? If not, you could just remove the Easy Anticheat bloatware and play without it.
I meannnnnn I cant really show my mech ♥♥♥♥. However, I did have my pilot name "Daddy D" as that is my nickname haha, but I guess fromsoft is a little TOO "soft"

No, I prefer AC games single player, buy you're right. I should remove it.
Okay, I just did another verify files and I just got the message "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired". So I found out, I got to wait till the next patch as there is a problem with the game files.

Something is tripping the anticheat. Either you have disabled the anticheat or you have software installed and running that could trip it, stuff like debuggers, memory modifiers or yes, cheat software.

Disable any of that stuff and try again.

Otherwise, hit the system with malwarebytes. It could be something that snuck into your system, doesn't matter if you only built it two months ago, that could still be enough.

Also you don't neet 5 bajillion antiviruses. All you need is windows defender and malwarebytes. Those do the job nicely. Make sure you haven't got anything malicious installed

I have zero cheat software/debuggers/memory mods etc. I also only have Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (because as you said, you only really need those). Yet I am having the exact same issue as OP. Didn't realise this is what was causing my game to never save.

Any tips?

I'm also having the same problem. No cheats loaded, freshly installed game. I've verified game files. I can play 1 sortie and then after mission it says "inappropriate activity detected"

May just refund my money. :(

When you say "another" verify: Do you mean you'd verified before, it had passed, you hadn't done anything, verified again, and it failed?

Everyone's mentioning viruses, so let me be the first to suggest possible drive failure. May be worth running some checks on your SSD/HDD, as it could be faulting. If it is, the sooner you can get a replacement drive and copy everything over, the better, because if that's the issue, it'll only get worse, and probably fast.

Re-install or re-validate the game via steam.

I was having crap FPS and freezing - so... I installed on another drive. still got crap FPS and freezing, so I updated my graphics drivers. Now it's smooth, but getting inappropriate action message. So I validated my game integrity, and it's fixed.

Probably should do a fresh install, imo.

So something is activating the anti cheat. Something else you run outside of the game that you probably leave running in the background. I suggest turning things you don't use off and just have steam and the essentials going on.

Also try another game that has the similar anti cheat, like Halo or Doom Eternal. Something not another game from Fromsoft. If those games get tripped then it's something in the background triggering all the anti cheat stuff.

I had the same error. Verifying game files found 1 wrong file.
