What helped me was switching from the short extension module to the bubble one and really watching how it attacks to dodge those bad melee/shield attacks.
Though I did manage to beat it already so my next playthrough won't have the same problem heh
My main strategy for Ring Freddie was to circle around him and dash periodically to dodge most of his missiles. And for the Warrant Officer, my main strategy was to close in on him with the shotguns while making sure to dash to avoid his projectiles, particularly the charged laser. I also used my arena points to max out the damage reduction and repair perks, and purchased the Terminal pulse shield.
It would've made sense for the game to have at least included a checkpoint after killing Ring Freddie, because the difficulty spike for merely completing this mission was very high compared to all of the other missions I had encountered.
dude... he already did it... you're like, 9 months late
