That doesn't even work because EAC prevents you changing core affinity, even in that tool.
The only solution is to rename armoredcore6.exe to start_protected_game.exe, which of course disables EAC. But after you rename and launch, then you can change affinity and remove core 0, both in Task Manager and Process Lasso.
I'm trying to do that but I'm getting a "Access Denied" message. I disabled UAC like the guide said, any idea's ?
no issues for me though so can't really help, wish I could.
I have an i7-4790K @ 4.6GHz all-core and *haven't* had any issues, so I think whatever is going on here is something else entirely.
OP's CPU is technically above minimum listed specs, also, while mine (presumably at stock clocks though) is like exactly the listed minimum.
Still managed to beast Balteus with the stutters though, it was harrowing. Other EAC games work fine without stuttering, so hopefully it's just FromSoft's implementation of EAC and they'll be able to patch it - fingers crossed...
