Save Problem?
played 2 hours last night. saved and return to title. today I continued the game only to restart me from the very beginning!. Played the 1st mission, saved and return to title, continued and it freaking had me restart? am I just plain stupid? am i missing something here?

Same. Verified game files thrice, reinstalled once, started new games dozens of times. I get checkpoints but the game does not continue from those checkpoints if I quit or exit the game to main menu.

Checkpoints don't save, that's intentional. The game saves in the garage. If you quit mid-mission, you'll continue where you were in the garage before you started the sortie.

Aweful gamedesign, continue where you left of on PS5 doesn't work either.

Same exact thing happened to me. I played a bit before I had to go to sleep. Got on today and it was putting me in the tutorial. I messed around a bit with some different things trying to get it to save correctly.

What worked for me was verifying the game files in steam. It downloaded some files for a bout a minute and then since then my saves have worked. Ive tested it by returning tot he menu and also just exiting the game.
