"Failed to connect to Epic Online Services (01-00000)."
Just got the game and been playing it offline cause of getting this error upon getting to the main menu, but am finding no one else mention it anywhere. Is this because of launch day troubles or am I running into a problem here? :o

im also experiencing this issue, not luck with verifying game cache, i booted up the first day just fine now im 2 days in and cant get online.

I opened a ticket at Bandai Namco tech support and 15 mins later I got a reply that said:
"Unfortunately we cannot find the issue so we have forwarded this problem to the game devs, please check future patch notes or open another ticket should the issue persist."

So, no news on that end.

That error's something I keep having when playing offline without EAC (I had the whitescreen CTD error that I have to fix with the Elden Ring method for the moment - that disables EAC), so yeah, can't play online without EAC on.

Found a log file under appdata\roaming\armoredcore6 that should be able to determine the issue for these connection issues (I think it said something about failing to connect with the Epic Online Services API) but since I know ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about these things and am also currently reinstalling the whole game, I didn't know what to do with it.

Maybe someone else here can take a look in their own folder?

Full reinstall did not help, still stuck with being unable to connect (error 03-99999).
I'm at my wits end.

yeah at this point I'm just hoping a patch fixes it. only time I've seen someone report these error codes off of Elden Ring was related to the server /actually/ going down. and I'm guessing y'all aren't all on Linux? I had thought that to be my issue initially but then I looked elsewhere and saw one or two Japanese players with this issue-- which makes it a lot less likely to be linux.

I'm on Windows. I don't think the OS has anything to do with it.

Seems like EAC cannot access the Epic API for some reason? Really no idea what causes this since
1. my first launch was without any problems
2. Elden Ring uses this crap too and lets me login normally.

Do you perhaps own the digital artbook / soundtrack and have tried accessing it from the game's install folder? I can't imagine this being the cause but that's all I did between the two launches.

sadly no, cannot say that's what caused it for me. I've been having it since first launch, unfortunately. :<

I’m having the same problem, also my progress is not being saved after I quit and save the game. Is this a problem on my end or steam?
I had the Same Problem. After verifing the Game Files, it detected one corrupted file. Now it is working properly and I can save my Progress. Optional further Tipps:
- Launch the Game, set it on Offline Mode
- Make an exemption at Windows Firewall for Epic and Armored Core
- Go to “C:\...\steamapps\common\ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON\Game” and enable "Launch File as administrator" for the following two files:
armoredcore6.exe
start_protected_game.exe

I've been having this problem for days - and I'm not sure what to do. I bought it on PS5 out of desperation to utilize the PVP and mech sharing stuff, and it works no problem there. Not sure why PC has such a problem.
I've connected my Epic account to my Steam account. Restarted. Made sure to run as administrator, and close/disable anything other than Steam, Epic, and Anticheat.
Still doesn't work and won't connect to to the Epic Servers... If anyone has a solution PLEASE share.

Incorrect! Learn to read! We have been over the fact that we aren't using Epic before! Fromsoft using Epic's server stuff in some capacity, so it will spit out an Epic-related error if you're having connectivity issues.

Did you link Epic and Steam accounts? Not sure if needed but my accounts are linked and all works fine.
