Rename/Delete "start_protected_game.exe" then make a copy of "armoredcore6.exe" and rename it to "start_protected_game.exe".


So basically you have the "armoredcore6.exe" twice but one of then is renamed for eac file.

But remember, if you're planning on cheating, modding or modify anything inside the game, DO NOT GO ONLINE. If you're thinking to boost your char using cheating software, and use it to play online after disable cheat, don't. EAC know what you're doing. Just stay offline.

If you want to play online, just delete your save files, and uninstall your game if you install anything sus from nexus, and play the game again from beginning. Clean slate.

I can't play the game because EAC crashes on launch. they should either fix the issue a lot of people are having with EAC, or find a more compatible.

but if i just play offline without cheating etc, after completing the story, if ill enable eac again i can easily play online if i want?

ok let's start by the beginning, are you running at least win 10, and what are your specs

After about 2 hours of troubleshooting I finally found a fix for my issue. To be clear my issue was when pressing Play it would pretend to load and then nothing would happen and the Play button would turn green again, meaning the game never actually launched at all (I didn't get a black screen, any errors messages, etc. simply nothing would happen).

1. Go to Library > right click > manage > browse local game files
2. Go to the Game folder and find start_protected_game.exe
3. Right click the app, Properties > Compatibility > Change Settings for All Users > Run this program as administrator
4. Do the same for armoredcore6.exe, and the game should finally load (with EAC functioning)

Disabling/removing EAC actually blocks you from going online completely which is perfectly fine.

♥♥♥♥ that! Halo MCC has an option to start the game without EAC, this game should have it as well.
