End of Chapter 2 Lasers?

I'm having trouble dodging the PCA Lasers at the end of Chapter 2. The big orbital one. Has anyone had any luck? Seems like I just keep getting blasted for half my health

Listen for the sounds of the laser firing, then quick boost JUST before it shoots. Long as you go on the proper sound, you're safe every time.

In the first area there's a hole you can drop down, navigate around until you get to the bridge then overboost/pop a repair/overboost again.

If you really want to brute force it equip tank legs then just yolo swag overboost/repair to the objective area then checkpoint abuse once you clear the last area.

There's a whole under section to avoid these lasers lol. You just built diffy.

boosting is 100% avoidance, there is platforming section under bridge with no laser, you can go inside platform as soon as you start mission avoiding all lasers till bridge. You can just boost it all, there is supply station just after bridge so spam heals when you need.

I couldn't figure the timing for the dodge myself but getting hit just once is survivable and you get a full resupply shortly. And yeah, there's a section to get overhead cover for the first half of that stretch but then you're in the open.

while this won't get you any S ranks. go medium build at minimum and you can survive the orbital laser.

Also try the boosters for sale with the biggest overboost efficiency. They can get a medium biped across the underside of the bridge if your reactor and torso is good for it. no need for quad legs, just not being fat. (some more general use thrusters had me fall a foot short of that).

those micro platforms are so tiny that you are bound to die trying to land on em.

As others have said, there's a hole in the outdoor area to go underneath and up to the bridge. When you get to the bridge, you can Assault Boost underneath it with most setups either most of the way or all the way there, and once you reach the other side there's a small group of drones and resupply.

Go light, you can comfortably dodge the lasers with a light chassis and powerful booster.

just QB at the moment you heard the laser sound nothing else

Get underground then just jump from support to support under the bridge …. Rush last jump part to hide in cover . Then you can hit right on the side of the building.
