No input on steam deck?

I had it initially but after messing with back button setting i lost all input. even reverting back to no back buttons doesnt fix it. Neither does restarting the game or deck.

Having this issue now too. I just configured the back buttons and it doesn't register any input anymore

I got mine working after applying one of the developer layouts. you can edit from there

Appreciated! I actually just got it working too by starting it up in desktop mode then switching back to game mode.
