Game optimization is awesome

Mid Tier PC with Ryzen 5800 and 3090, barely 16gb RAM.
Playing on 4k, 80-120FPS on maxed settings and ZERO STUTTERING.

I was scared of the game being a flop as all modern games running like crap, but this one is smooth like butter.

Also killed the Heli boss in the second try, I haven't played Armored Core since 2001.

During the missions, the game runs great for me; but when I go into Decal mode, it comes to a crawl.

That is weird, there must be something going on wrong.
Maybe old CPU architecture issue?

Personally, no issues so far. running at 1440p.

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Nvidia RTX 3070ti
32GB DDR4

My settings are set to High. no fps drops or lag. fps is at least 60 but usually way higher.

I have only cleared the first mission and some training so maybe in later sections there are issues?

Game's on par with Doom Eternal on optimization. I5 4590 and Gtx 1070 Ti (i know it's ancient, but I can't afford something better atm) and game runs butter smooth maxed (no RTX of course) on 1080p.

Nope, not at all. The optimization of this game is quite poor, actually.

First game I've booted up in a while that can run around 100fps 4k with maxed out settings. My rig is quite close to yours though just swap the cpu for a 5800x3d.

The optimization is good IF your not dealing with the stuttering bug on older processors that requires disabling EAC to fix...
