Players having performance issues. Are you using Intel or AMD?
I'm getting some info about these performance issues I'm seeing with AC6. A lot of people seem to be reporting these issues are mainly happening on Intel based systems, specifically pre 12th gen chips. AMD systems seem mostly unaffected.

If you're having performance issues, what model of CPU are you using (Intel or AMD) and what model of CPU is it? Trying to collect together a list.

My hunch is FromSoft borked their implementation of P and E core support for 12th and 13th Gen Intel chips and that's having a knock on effect on chips pre 12th gen but need more data to figure it out.

Edit: From early observations it seems like Armored Core 6 is a VERY CPU Bound game. It seems to run relatively OK on low end GPU's provided the CPU has enough oomph in it. Still gathering more information but this is the pattern I've been noticing so far

Edit 2:

Intel users with performance issues, please try DISABLING HyperThreading in your BIOS as that seems to be helping a lot.

the only issues i did have is the ray tracing but that thing eat a lot of resource that insane so i did put it to medium and that did fix all my problem

Intel/Nvidea, myself.
Major performance issues RN.

Turning off the "auto-detect best rendering" thing helped, as did flipping off SSAO...
But man, ♥♥♥♥ chugs hard when I start boosting around.

For CPU I have a 5900x from AMD, 3080 from Nvidia for GPU and getting serious issues.

Have seen quite a few AMD CPUs with issues in these discussions as well.

Interesting. I have seen some AMD issues here and there but nowhere near the extent of the Intel ones. That and the intel issues seem to have a pattern with the type of chips they are (all pre 12th generation)

What's your CPU and GPU Model?
Not much of a hardware techie... So...
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
Graphics card is...
Nvidea GeForce GTX 1070

Yeah that checks out. That era of intel chip is one I consistently see having issues.

Thanks for the info!

5900X with an 6900XT
Stuttering bad frame time in gameplay sections
Menus and cutscenes have smooth frame times though

Can't even get a consistent 30 FPS... This physically hurts.

Another 5900X. This is one of the few chips from AMD I have seen popping up that seems to have issues while much less powerful chips like the 3600 seem to have no issues. very strange.

yeah that's pretty consistent to the reports I've heard. The weird thing is a comparable AMD chip from the same time period seems to run the game just fine so there's something funky going on here

I'm watching my friend stream on a 1650. It's unbelievable that even when they aren't meeting the minimum system requirements, they can not only run it flawlessly, but stream it. Obviously, they turned the settings to medium, but the fact it runs while streaming is interesting. Makes me wonder why higher-end cards are struggling with newer games.

i'm on an intel xeon e3-1241-v3 (essentially an i7 4770, just slightly below the listed specs) + nvidia gtx 970 at the moment.

with low settings i sit somewhere around 40fps in most missions, resolution doesnt seem to make any difference on the framerate. aint got nothin on ac4a dropping to 10-15 on ps3

i3 10100f here. Stuttering like crazy, game uses only CPU 0 up to 100% utilization, while CPU 2 and CPU 4 hovering in 30-40% range, overall usage is ~30%.
Fps is fine, about 70-80. Still unplayble due to stutters.

That's incredibly bizarre. Can you check what CPU they're using?
