Dumb or game insanely hard ?

I'm at the very first boss and for the life of me I can't even get his hp under 30%

I'm getting farmed by the guns even behind cover, and if I stay out of cover for more than 5 secs I get stunlocked

I don't mind having a really difficult boss but unlike in ER I can't grind or ignore it for now

Havent done it myself yet as I started the download as I clocked out of work but I'm sure this aint as bad as some of the Armsforts or NineBall....

Apparently my AC skills have gone to ♥♥♥♥ since 2012 because this boss is just destroying my health. Doing my best to dodge attacks but between it's missile and gun spam plus trying to break it's stun gauge while doing said dodging is making this not click for me so far.
