If the pre-release gameplay videos didn't sell you on the game just watch live gameplay on twitch. That'll be a better use of your time than listening to what the so called 'gaming journalists' have to say.

In the gameplay vids, the game appears to be quite shallow and dull. It won't change by watching some kid play it on Twitch. But because the reviews are so much better than I had anticipated, I'd rather trust the "gaming journalists" when they say that it plays much better than it looks.

FROM said 50-60 hours, but I don't know whether that includes multiple playthroughs, as you will have to play through the game multiple times to see every mission.

Honestly my biggest hesitation on the game is the developer, unaethetically clunky mech designs aside. They've triple downed so much on the popularity of the excessively difficult souls genre, I don't know why I could in good conscience not expect the same from this.

AC games have always been fairly challenging. It'd be weirder if it wasn't. Unlike in souls though, you can basically "respec" instantly and use a build that makes whatever is beating you much easier.
