Gameplay looks like it is from 2010

Look up a game called "Front Mission Evolved", it literally did what this game is doing way back in 2010. It even had shooting missions where you would need to leave your mech and run on foot to kill people.

I don't know how anyone is hyped for this game. Gameplay looks old. Graphics are lackluster. I am not sure this game really needs to exist at all.

Nope, you're wrong it looks like gameplay from 1998! Shogo mobile armor did everything better! You could shoot and stuff and there was a mech and stuff and you had missions outside the mech and stuff. Totally, yes.
