PvP Leaderboards / Ranking System

Hello everyone,

I'm an older generation of gamer, predominantly spending my childhood on Dark Age of Camelot.

Anyway, I understand that this forum will have several Armored Core veterans, so my question is; Did AC4 or AC5 have any sort of PvP leaderboard / ranking system?

I'm looking forward to the intensity, fast paced play style, and most importantly - the PvP.

Dunno if old games had rankings, but modern From Software seem to not favor it. By reports PvP is just lobbies and that's it.

Honestly; Leaderboards always seem to spawn cheaters who need to be on the top, no matter what.
I will not be sad if AC6 lacks a leaderboard.

Yea I agree. Elden Ring has a very small ranking system, which is ever so slightly disappointing but AC6 will still be enjoyable nonetheless.

This current game, PvP and all regular PvP mechanics that you would come to expect from a typical AC game are not present in this iteration of the Franchise. PvP was more of an after thought it seems what with how horrible the multiplayer lobby is, and zero match making. I wouldn't recommended trying to join an unknown lobby either since you don't really know if you are spectating or are actually going to play, and the only way to get out of that lobby after a match is to Alt+4.

I’ve moved over to Elder Scrolls Online due to the PvP mechanics, leaderboards and content. However, I do enjoy FromSoft games.

The PVP potential of this game is immense, and I wish they implement that. Seasons could lock out certain weapons or parts for example, or introduce new stage mechanics. Or make a game mode similar to DOTA. So many things they can do.
