I had to uninstall Elden Ring because of security concerns related to EAC. I have to know if this game will have the same issue before I buy it.

Game definitely has EAC, doesn't launch because of it on Windows 11 with stack protection on.
Refunded the game because of this. Don't put this absolute garbage in games, especially ones that don't even need multiplayer to begin with.

People recommending to disable the stack protection are absolutely delusional.

You could just launch the game with Special K to get around EAC and you'll get better frame pacing, lower input latency, etc.

Was looking at easy ac support page looking at all of the t-shooting steps and this one seems to be making a difference for me https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/service/

It seems that the version that comes with the game in the path ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON\Game\EasyAntiCheat\easyanticheat_eos_setup.exe") is file / product version 1.20 while the version used to up date the Windows Easy Anti Cheat service is 6.0.0. If you look at services in Windows (start -> run -> services.msc) the service that is installed with the game is called "Easy Anti-Cheat (Epic Online Services)" but if you install the service update, a new service designated as "EasyAntiCheat" appears in the service list as well.

Ever since installing the service update, I've not had issues with being online with the AC6 server. So far, so good.

You can download a mod loader for all the FS games and it lets you launch the game without anti cheat and if your so worried about getting hacked back up your files and factory reset windows
