That's pretty much AC but with 10 years of game design experience piled onto it.
I also noticed that the hard lock so many people complain about seems to break with line of sight so far, so no amount of hard lock will help you if an enemy can actually use cover.
Same, that would be amazing!
They almost always are :)
Very happy that we will all be able to experience this. The game looks like it's going to be something very special!
Oooooh, lucky! I hope you enjoy!
Let us know how it plays once you get the chance
I have virtually zero complaints, though I might wind up having to fiddle with control customization since I'm not 100% down with all 4 weapons being bound on the shoulder buttons, might swap the shoulder weapon bindings with Jump and Quick Boost, claw gripping for the more one-tap shoulder weapons might be preferable to me.
Apparently the game is split into 5 chapters with some Last Raven/For Answer style branching, it was said by a dev that the footage that players were allowed to use (bits from a few missions up to 11) was about 20% of the game, extrapolating that we can picture that means a single playthrough may take about 50 missions as a fair guess (10 or so per chapter).
When factoring any branches or other endings (assuming they're not strictly just for flavor and do lead to different missions entirely) this is going to be a surprisingly meaty game overall.
i was trying to keep my hype low but all my fears have been put to rest :)
Of course, I'll be waiting for a sale myself, as I'm sure that the game is still going to nerf the ability to do Human Plus builds and probably nerf the machine gun, and maybe the radiator. I'll keep an eye on the forums and updates though just the same, and may even change my mind as I learn more, we'll see.
As for Human Plus...I don't think that's even confirmed to be a thing at the moment, there's no radiator either and that is confirmed (stagger has replaced heat buildup essentially).
